About Shyanna

Licensed massage therapist, lifelong learner, Bend local, and firm believer that taking care of your body is what lets you keep doing everything you love.

Growing up, my mother was a massage therapist. I watched people leave her office lighter than when they walked in — more relaxed, less burdened, genuinely happier. As a kid I didn't think I'd follow her path. But looking back, it makes complete sense.

She built something real — a practice rooted in community, in relationships, in helping people find relief from pain and stress. I wanted that too.

In college I fell in love with the human body — how it moves, how it adapts, how it heals. I started in Biology, shifted toward kinesiology, and realized I didn't just want to study the body. I wanted to work with it, hands-on, in a way that actually made a difference in people's lives. Massage therapy became the place where all of that came together.

There's a concept in Japanese culture called Ikigai — most closely translated as "purpose." It describes the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what sustains you. When you find it, the work never feels like work. Massage therapy, bodywork, and serving this community are my Ikigai. I found it, and I don't take that lightly.

I Live What I Practice

I'm a Bend Local Who Knows Exactly What You're Putting Your Body Through.

Climbing, hiking, backpacking, skiing — I do all of it. I understand firsthand what it means to push your body and why keeping it healthy isn't optional, it's everything. The ability to keep doing what brings you joy doesn't happen by accident. It takes intentional care.

That's the lens I bring to every session. Whether you're an athlete managing recovery, someone working through daily discomfort, or just someone who needs an hour to genuinely decompress — I get it, because I've been there too. It is deeply rewarding to help others keep doing what brings them joy and thrive in their day-to-day lives. That's what keeps me doing this work.

Credentials & Experience

A Decade of Experience. A Commitment to Never Stop Learning.

I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Oregon, with specific certifications in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Cupping Therapy, Gua Sha, Thai Massage, Thai Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, and Aromatherapy.

My Thai Massage and Thai Foot Reflexology certifications were earned in Chiang Mai, Thailand — studied at the source, not from a manual.

Over the years I've had the privilege of providing massage at events throughout Bend including Bend Oktoberfest, the Haulin' Aspen Marathon, The Black Sage Proving Grounds, and Summerfest at HooDoo. I offer in-room massage at the Oxford Suites Hotel in downtown Bend and occasionally provide private event massage for local businesses in the area.

I'm always studying. Always growing. Because the best thing I can do for the people who trust me with their bodies is to keep getting better.
